METU-NCC

Middle East Technical University, located in Ankara- the capital city of Turkey, is ranked first in Turkey along with Sabanci University and Koc University and ranked 350-400th in the world according to Times Higher education 2024. It has a branch in North Cyprus, known as METU NCC. While the main campus doesn’t provide scholarships, METU NCC provides scholarships to international students. It evaluates undergraduate international candidates for full (100%) or partial (25%, 50%, 75%, or 90%) tuition fee waiver only based on academic merit. They provide scholarships based on SAT and HSC.

Tuition-Discounts available to the applicants from Bangladesh: 

Applicants with the given score ranges in the corresponding examination shown below will be considered for tuition fee discount scholarships: 

1.  25%: Applicants with a minimum graduation score of 75% in 12-grade high school diploma (Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate) in the stream related to the program applied for. 
2. 50%: Applicants with a minimum graduation score of 80% in 12-grade high school diploma (Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate) in the stream related to the program applied for. 
3. 75%: Applicants with a minimum graduation score of 85% in 12-grade high school diploma (Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate) in the stream related to the program applied for.
4. 90%: Applicants with a minimum graduation score of 90% in 12-grade high school diploma (Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Intermediate) in the stream related to the program applied for.
5. 100%: Tuition waiver will be awarded to exceptionally successful applicants.  

Note: These scholarships are limited in number and thus competitive. The application date for fall 2024 is September 6.

Applicants with the given score ranges in the corresponding examination shown below will be considered for tuition fee discount scholarships: 

SAT Reasoning (SAT1): 

1. 25%: 1000(math 500) .
2. 50%: 1200 (math 670) .
3. 75%: 1400 (Math 750)
4. 90%: 1450 (Math 760).
5. 100%: 1500 (Math 790) . 

Note: These scholarships are limited in number and thus competitive. 

Note that they don’t provide a full ride. . Therefore, if you get a full tuition fee waiver, still you need to manage your dormitory and living costs.
